Nine people were injured late Saturday after multiple people opened fire outside a bar in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood, police said.
Four of the victims were in critical condition and the other five were stable as of late Saturday, according to the police department.
Multiple people got out of a black car, fired roughly 40 shots, then fled the scene, First Deputy Police Commissioner John Stafford said in a news conference shortly after the incident. Police are still searching for the shooters and don't know a motive for the shooting yet, Stanford said.
“These individuals may have spotted someone they wanted to shoot at, exited the vehicle and just began firing,” Stanford said.
