Starbucks recall

Time to check your fridge.

PepsiCo Inc. last week announced a recall of its Starbucks Vanilla Espresso Triple Shot beverage because of possible contamination by foreign material, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration reported.

The cold canned drinks are being pulled from shelves in seven states due to possible metal fragments in them.

The items were distributed across Arkansas, Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Florida, Oklahoma and Texas, according to the FDA.

Although the recall began Aug. 15, the news was made public by the FDA on Sept. 8. The FDA didn't publish a complete release, but an enforcement report is live on its website.
