9/11 Families United, a coalition of families and survivors of the 2001 terrorist attacks, said they are “shocked and deeply offended” by PGA Tour’s merger with Saudi-backed LIV Golf.

In a statement, 9/11 Families United said LIV Golf is “bankrolled by billions of sportswashing money from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” and that Saudi operatives played a role in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. LIV Golf is funded by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund, which is controlled by the Saudi crown prince.

Terry Strada, whose husband died in the attacks and is chair of 9/11 Families United, said in the statement that PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan is a “Saudi shill.”

“But now the PGA and Monahan appear to have become just more paid Saudi shills, taking billions of dollars to cleanse the Saudi reputation so that Americans and the world will forget how the Kingdom spent their billions of dollars before 9/11 to fund terrorism, spread their vitriolic hatred of Americans, and finance al Qaeda and the murder of our loved ones,” Strada said. “Make no mistake — we will never forget.”

Cohen also gained possible access to an additional $529,000 through a mortgage he co-signed with his wife for a condominium owned by her parents at Trump World Tower in late 2015, the Journal reported.

Sessions mulls firing McCabe before retirement

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is reportedly considering firing former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, just days before the bureau’s second-highest ranking official is set to retire.

Mr. McCabe is the focus of an internal Justice Department probe on the FBI’s investigative decisions during the 2016 presidential campaign, including the probe of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server. The Justice inspector general concluded that Mr. McCabe was not forthcoming during the review, reported The New York Times, which first broke the story.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller's office said Friday that a grand jury indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities for alleged interference in the 2016 presidential elections, during which they boosted the candidacy of Donald Trump.

The indictment says that the defendants by early to mid-2016 were "supporting the presidential campaign of then-candidate Donald J. Trump ... and disparaging Hillary Clinton."

The indictment said "the organization," known as the Internet Research Agency LLC, "sought, in part, to conduct what it called 'information warfare against the United States of America' through fictitious U.S. personas on social media platforms and other Internet-based media."

Trump immigration demands threaten Dreamers

President Donald Trump laid out his immigration principles for Capitol Hill on Sunday — a list of hardline policies that could seriously complicate the prospects of striking a deal with Democrats over the future of hundreds of thousands of young undocumented immigrants.

“The priority for Congress ought to be to save American lives, protect American jobs and improve the well-being of American communities. These reforms accomplish that,” a senior administration official told reporters on Sunday night. “They live up to the president’s campaign commitment to have an immigration system that puts the needs of hardworking Americans first.”
